Annual Dixie Cup Multi-Chapter Challenge
Congratulations to Fran Decker and Jenifer Gajdalo who advanced to the Semi-Finals!  Way to go!
Chapter Match Play Event
Our popular annual event has grown over the past 3 years and we have made a few changes to accommodate even more participants. Firstly, there will be 2 Flights with a Trophy for the winner of each flight and a plaque for the winner of the Consolation Round in each flight. Secondly, kick-off is a little later this year and the match play will run into the Autumn months.

If you haven't tried Match Play before, I hope you give it a try.  It is yet another way to enjoy the game of golf and get to know some of our fellow members better!  You will need to establish a handicap to participate and 5 recorded scores within the past year so that it is equitable for all participants.

Here are the details of the Match Play, Q&A Form, Flight 1 Schedule, Flight 2 Schedule and Consolation Round Schedule.  If you have any questions, please email Dianne Doherty at
Chapter Cup Event
Our 2nd Annual 2-day Cup Event is scheduled for Saturday, September 26th at Savannah Quarters and Sunday, September 27th at Crosswinds Golf Course.  Can the Magnolia Team retain the Cup or will the Wisteria Team take it away this year?  Click here for the general details of the event, more to come soon.  If you weren't on a team last year, you can sign up to play this year!
Chapter Jekyll Island Golf Weekend
Members don't want to miss our annual golf getaway on Jekyll Island in Georgia.  Scheduled for Saturday, August 22nd and Sunday, August 23rd, we'll be playing at the Island Mound Golf Course both days, and we've reserved rooms at the Hampton Inn & Suites on Beachview Blvd. For more information see the above calendar listing.

EWGA Cup (Match Play)

This match play competition is conducted under the direction of the EWGA headquarters in 2 stages of play:

2. The National Championship (Cup Finals) - 18 holes of 4-ball and 18 holes Singles completed over 2 days on November 13-14, held at Reunion Resort, Kissimmee, FL
*4-Ball Match Play = in which 2 players (a side) play their better ball against the better ball of the 2 other players (opposite side). All players play their own ball. Lower net score of the 2 players is the team score on the hole.
