We welcome new membership anytime during the year to join our golf chapter. Whether you are an experienced golfer, someone getting back into the game, retired or working or new to the game, we have a little bit of everything for everyone.  We love to play golf and have fun.

If you would like to come out and play with us to see what we're all about before joining, please check our UPCOMING EVENTS section above and email the outing coordinator for that day.  Our master calendar will give you a glimpse of where we play and we generally schedule our golf outings every other Saturday.  If you are new to the game of golf and are in need of lessons, please see our Education section for golf professionals in the area. We'll be happy to meet or assist you at any time.

Handicap System

As part of your EWGA membership, you have access to its free handicap system where you can post, track and analysis your scores.  We encourage all our members to have a handicap established but it's not required to join or play in our regularly scheduled outings. However, an established handicap is needed to participate in some chapter events, and the EWGA National Tournament competitions. Download their app to your phone for easier access and posting.

USGA Golf Rules & Etiquette
It's important for all golfers, no matter their levels, to know the basic rules of golf and etiquette. This includes pace of play, playing ready golf, common golf tips and rules. There are many instructional videos and information on the USGA website and also look to our monthly newsletters for highlighted topics. Proper golf rules and honesty is essential and required for posting scores.

If you are interested in golf lessons or new to the game, we have partnered with some local golf courses and professionals, which offer a special rate exclusively for EWGA members.
