We welcome new membership anytime during the year to join our golf chapter. Whether you are an experienced golfer, someone getting back into the game, retired or working, or new to the game, we have a little bit of everything for everyone.  We love to play golf, but we also love to socialize, and our chapter goal is to make golf fun for all.

Handicap & Education

Handicaps
As part of your EWGA membership, you have access to it's handicap system where you can post and track your scores through their website.  We encourage all our members to have a handicap established. Although it's not required, it will allow you to play in some of special events where handicaps are needed, and the EWGA National Championship and Match Cup events. You can also download their app to your phone for easier access and posting.

Education
We are always looking for the best ways to improve our golf game.  As a chapter, we strive to provide quality education in a fun way, for all levels of golfers throughout the year.  Sometimes it may be a simple clinic before one of our golf outings, a special education workshop or part of a social evening, or we may join a local community program that is already being offered.  Look for emails and calendar notices for information, but if you are need of some education immediately, please contact one of our board members, and we'll make sure we direct you to the best place.

USGA Golf Rules & Etiquette
It's important for all golfers, no matter their levels, to know the basic rules of golf and etiquette. This includes pace of play, playing ready golf, common golf tips and rules. There are many instructional videos and information on the USGA website and also look to our monthly newsletters for highlighted topics.

Our Chapter Board

Our Board of Directors are all volunteer positions, and they work hard to make the chapter run smoothly.  However, they cannot do it alone. If you are interested in joining the board, helping in a chair position under them, or volunteering in some capacity, please contact one of them.  Our elections begin each summer, and some new board positions become available each November.
